Everything in the classroom comes from active, working experience: producing records, managing 14 touring artists through Yonas Media, placing music in film and TV through ATL Sync. Students learn from someone still doing the work daily, and build real experience through MTM Standard — a student-led company that handles actual distribution and sync licensing.
MTM
MTM is Georgia State University’s music industry program, co-directed by Ben Yonas. Students prepare for careers across the full spectrum of the music industry — production, engineering, rights management, marketing, and entrepreneurship — in downtown Atlanta, one of the most active music markets in the country.
Students also run MTM Standard, a student-led distribution and sync licensing company Ben co-founded — a real music business, from the inside.
