Ben Yonas is a professor at Georgia State University’s School of Music in the heart of downtown Atlanta. He co-directs MTM, Georgia State’s music industry program, where the coursework is built directly from the work he does every day — producing records, managing touring artists through Yonas Media, and placing music in film and TV through ATL Sync.
Students build real experience through MTM Standard, a student-led company handling actual distribution and sync licensing.

MTM
MTM is Georgia State University’s music industry program, co-directed by Ben Yonas. Students prepare for careers across the full spectrum of the music industry — production, engineering, rights management, marketing, and entrepreneurship — in downtown Atlanta, one of the most active music markets in the country.
Students also run MTM Standard, a student-led distribution and sync licensing company Ben co-founded — a real music business, from the inside.
