Education

Georgia State University. School of Music. Music Technology & Management. Downtown Atlanta.

Ben Yonas is a professor at Georgia State University’s School of Music in the heart of downtown Atlanta. He teaches in the Music Technology and Management program, where the coursework is built directly from the work he does every day — producing records, managing touring artists through Yonas Media, and placing music in film and TV through ATL Sync and Crosstown Sync.

Students don’t study the industry from textbooks. They learn from someone actively running a management company with 14 artists, operating two sync licensing catalogs, and producing sessions. And they build real experience through MTM Standard, a student-led company handling actual distribution and sync licensing.
